London: After the Statue of Unity in Sardar Patel built in Gujarat, another statue is going to increase the respect of India all over the world. The main thing is that it is not made in India but in London. This statue in Smethwick, West Midland region in England, has been built in honor of the Indian soldiers who fought in the First World War.

Gurudwara Nanak Smethwick has created this idol of ‘Lion of World War’. This is the statue of a turban Sikh soldier. It has been built in honor of the millions of soldiers of all religions of South Asia who introduced their bravery in World War II.

Not only the world war, but these soldiers also played a big role in other British struggles. Jatinder Singh, President of Gurudwara Nanak Smethwick, said on this occasion, “We are proud to establish this martyr memorial at Smethwick intersection in honor of all the heroes who have traveled to the sea for the battle of that country which their country was not.”
