Sharing the video, he wrote, “The most difficult decisions are taken with a very heavy mind, and with a heavy heart, I have decided to declare that which I am afraid of life.” Gautam Gambhir, who is a left-handed top-order batsman, has played the role of Indian cricket team opener in Tests, ODIs, and T-20s for a long time. In the 2011 World Cup final, he scored the highest (97) and played an important role in making India a champion.

Thirty-seven-year-old Gambhir made his international debut in the Test match against Bangladesh in 2003. The next year he got a chance to enter the ODI against Australia in Mumbai. In 58 Tests, Gambhir has scored 4154 runs at an average of 41.95. It includes nine centuries, 22 half-centuries. In 147 one-day internationals, he has scored 5238 runs at an average of 39.68, including 11 centuries and 34 half-centuries. He also has a good record in T20.
